A little History:

Based in the village of Labastide d'Armagnac, the Chabot family established their name in the wine and spirits trade in 1828. Their Armagnac was first exported in 1963, when Michel Camus, President of Cognac Camus, together with John Gentzbourger, Director of Camus Overseas, commenced a fresh marketing drive. The product is presently distributed to over ninety countries being very appreciated for their quality and sophistication.

Alcoholic Grade: 40%

Tasting Notes: A soft, round entry leads into a lengthy and generous, medium dry palate offering flavours of dried fig, raisins and clove smothered in a blanket of furry spices. Finishes firm but in perfect balance with the drying oak, leading seamlessly into a very long aftertaste of new leather, raisin toast and orange zest with a subtle dried apricot fade.
